Board of Directors
Chosen for their ability to foster community connections and deepen understanding on curricular topics, the Hood River New School board of directors will keep us true to our vision and steer our school toward a thriving and sustainable future. We are actively looking for both local and remote individuals willing to share their expertise and support.
Operational Structure
Hood River New School is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit school. Dreaming big, we envision a future filled with academic scholarships, an endowment, a continuing education fund, and a complete package of staff benefits.
Parent Involvement and Volunteering Requirements
While we will not be involving families academically, we lean on our community of families to help with things such as transportation or possibly “light” chaperoning for overnighters. There may be other opportunities to share your expertise with the community and we strongly believe in leveraging the enormous talents of our pool of families. If you have a skill or expertise you’d love to share, please let us know!
