Supporting Hood River New School

Hood River New School provides an exceptional, interdisciplinary education to sixth through eighth grade students of the Columbia River Gorge area. New School honors the critical growth and development window that occurs during adolescence — the transition between childhood and adulthood. While the daily costs of operations are largely offset by tuition fees, New School relies on the passion, commitment, and engagement of our community to help grow our programming, our infrastructure, and provide access to more students regardless of their financial means.

We cherish our culture of community engagement and contribution and rely on the New School community to sustain our school with gifts of:

Time volunteering for carpooling, special events, and community engagements.

Expertise shared with students and staff.

Funds contributed to sustain and grow our school. Fundraising efforts will be varied and inclusive. Every gift matters and makes a difference.

Since its inception, Hood River New School has operated as a board-led, non-profit organization, prioritizing long-term sustainability and effective leadership. We achieved 501(c)(3) status in February 2022, making all donations tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Our Employer Identification Number (EIN) is 86-3027664.

Regardless of how you choose to engage and support us, we cherish your commitment and shared passion for the future of Hood River New School. Thank you.
