Hood River New School provides an exceptional, interdisciplinary education to sixth through eighth grade students of the Columbia River Gorge area. New School honors the critical growth and development window that occurs during adolescence — the transition between childhood and adulthood. While the daily costs of operations are largely offset by tuition fees, New School relies on the passion, commitment, and engagement of our community to help grow our programming, our infrastructure, and provide access to more students regardless of their financial means.

Since its inception, Hood River New School has operated as a board-led, non-profit organization, prioritizing long-term sustainability and effective leadership.
